During the years 1938-1943, the rector Carlo Anti, with the collaboration of the architect and designer Gio Ponti, promoted the realization of a rich decorative complex hosted in the main rooms and the degree halls of the Bo Palace and in the entrance hall of Liviano Palace.

The Mantova Benavides is the only collection of art and antiquities from the paduan Renaissance that is still preserved today, for a third of the original amount, in Padua, at Museum of Archaeological Sciences and Art, thanks to the Vallisneri donation to the University in 1733.

The Museum of Geology and Paleontology collections
The museum of Geology and Paleontology houses tens of thousands of fossil plants, invertebrates and vertebrates and rock samples. Most of them are coming from sites in Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Trentino Alto Adige regions.
