Description

This terracotta with dark patina (as to imitate bronze) is identified as Judith with the Head of Holofernes. L. Attardi attributed this work to Francesco Segala by comparisons with other works by this artist and also according to some stilistic details, such as the rendering of the drapery, the posture and the movement of the body also related to this artist.
