Description: The trilobites are marine Artropoda, extincted at the end of the Palaeozoic, with an oval, elongated, body divided in a head with composite eyes, a segmented torax, and a tail frequently ending with a spine. The body was also divided in three longitudinal lobes, from which the name Trilobite comes from.
